ARGENTUM is the leading national trade association serving companies that own, operate, and support professionally managed senior living communities in the United States.

We are seeking a Project Manager, Apprenticeships to manage the Healthcare Apprenticeship Expansion Program (HAEP), a $6 million, 4-year project awarded under a U.S. Department of Labor-funded Expanding Apprenticeships grant. This grant is developing and expanding nationwide apprenticeships in senior living and related allied health occupations. Argentum expects to continue to grow its workforce development team through successful execution of HAEP and additional industry- and grant-funded workforce projects and the Project Manager is expected to play a growing role during and following completion of this federal grant.

The Project Manager will report to the Vice President, Quality Improvement and will work with senior living operators, universities, nonprofit organizations, workforce agencies, and other partners including select hospital systems and allied health providers that will be involved in the grant to achieve the desired results.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Directs the strategic planning, development, and implementation of all aspects of the grant including administrative, financial oversight, data collection and reporting, and partnership management
2. Oversee budget and ensure financial accountability
3. Develop short- and long-term goals and objectives
4. Serves as main POC in all matters related to the grant and represents the project at national convenings and meetings
5. Work with employers, subject matter experts, educators, contractors, and other partners to expand industry-driven workforce development programs
6. Maintain knowledge of federal grants and respective budgets to assist in compliance with finance and administrative guidelines, deadlines, and audits
7. Review and provide approval of all expenditures related to grant in accordance with departmental budget and ensure all expenses are allowable and properly allocated
8. File progress reports via the FFATA Sub-award Reporting System (FSRS)
9. Ensure compliance with federal requirements as outlined in the grant agreement
10. Work with subcontractors to ensure completion of project deliverables
11. Collaborate with the communications team to report on key milestones
12. Develop reports, data tracking, processing, and analysis
13. Manage internal and external databases of employer and apprentice records
14. Work with Argentum departments and other stakeholders on the planning and execution of national and regional conferences and workshops.
15. Manage part-time grant administrator
16. Manage all consultants and contractors working on the grant

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience and extensive knowledge of industry workforce development programs. The desired candidate will have considerable relevant experience in preparing, writing, and/or administering grants, demonstrate strong organizational, communication, budgeting, and customer service skills, and exhibit a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during core flexible work hours. Due to COVID, this position is currently remote. Some travel is expected.
