Project Manager - Biologics

The Project Manager - Biologics leads and develops project activities and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed within scope, budget, and on schedule while maintaining compliance to global quality, regulatory, and clinical standards. Provides expertise in balancing the competing project constraints, which include, but are not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks. 

The essential functions of the job include:

  • Defines the project scope, objectives, and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders.

  • Develops structured project plans and overall project schedule that outline the activities, tasks, risks, resources, and milestones.

  • Drives cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Manages change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impact on scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Analyzes the project progress and coordinates with the project team to identify constraints and re-align the project efforts following any instituted risk mitigation strategies.

  • Establishes effective project communication strategies to keep team members, stakeholders, and clients informed of the project progress.

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.

  • Conducts post project evaluations and identifies lessons learned for reference to future projects.

  • Assists in project feasibility assessments.

  • Performs product maintenance activities as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelors or better.




Minimum of one (1) year experience as a technical project manager or project leader.

Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, and Outlook).

Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.


Master’s degree (MBA).

One year of tissue banking experience.

Sound knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements.

Ability to organize workload in accordance with project priorities and timelines with focus on execution.

Experience with 510(k) submissions.
