Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs. Partners closely with the in-house employment lawyers, as well as with HR Consulting, Talent Acquisition, Global Compensation, HR Risk, Compliance, Security, Procurement, Line of Business managers, Employee Relations, external counsel and vendors. Manages the end-to-end employment law-related programs from creation thru execution with attention to compliance with Company policies, procedures and controls, as well as local and federal laws.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EResponsibilities\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEnsures compliance with organization programs by managing end-to-end projects and providing guidance to all necessary departments in the organization regarding employment law-related business and strategic risk-reduction programs, policies, process, controls and standards\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EGathers business requirements and translates them for project teams. Manage all aspects of each project. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs. Aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources. Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAssists with business requirements analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Estimates work efforts and manages resources. Documents agendas, action items, project plans, and issue logs. Communicates project statuses to stakeholders.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EServes as the Subject Matter Expert and liaison with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the organization is compliant with employment-related municipal, state and federal laws; Manages, tracks, analyzes and reconciles budget with fee arrangements, invoices, quarterly spend and forecasts; approving spend, reports on quarterly spend, and implementing plans to reduce spend; Manages Integrity Hotline complaints, including tracking investigations, holding stakeholders accountable to SLAs, record-keeping and providing weekly and quarterly progress reports.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EResearches and writes practical memos regarding legislation, significant cases or trends related to employment and labor laws, including but not limited to, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, Equal Employment Opportunity and Department of Labor rules/guidance, payroll, personnel record-keeping, wages and hour, restrictive covenants, criminal background checks, state leave and state pay equity requirements; Writes memoranda regarding developments and legal trends in employment and labor such as Title VII, Affirmative Action, ADA, ADEA, WARN, Pay Equity, Sexual Harassment, Criminal Checks, Fair Credit Reporting and Marijuana laws; Liaises with HR Immigration unit, business units and attorneys to respond to Requests for Evidence from the USCIS; Builds and maintains template and legal advice employment law library.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ELeads efforts to identify, monitor and benchmark governance trends in order to make recommendations regarding governance to multiple departments, for example proper record keeping of documents to ensure company remains is in good standing and compliant with all relevant laws and requirements; Creates and manages content and coordination of various workplace trainings, including respect in the workplace, anti-harassment, and wage and hour compliance; Manages and update employment litigation database and reports, legal holds program, and employment-related subpoenas, garnishments and related documents; Manages Employment Law Practices Insurance program, by updating and tracking regulatory charges, attorney or pro se plaintiff demand letters, litigation, status, settlements, and outside counsel costs.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E \u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMinimum Qualifications\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EAt a minimum, here\u0027s what we need from you:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EBachelor\u0027s Degree in Project Management\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E4\u002B years of experience in Designing and implementing end-to-end employment law related programs, Employment regulations and guidance such as laws related to discrimination, leaves of absence, wage and hours, and disability or related experience\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EIn lieu, 8\u002B years Project management, Consulting or Related with proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E \u003C/p\u003E \u003Cp\u003E The same way we treat our employees is how we treat all applicants - with respect.
