Position Overview:
Sentech Architectural Systems is an Austin-based specialty structural glass design, engineering and manufacturing company that serves the needs of progressive architecture and building industry professionals on some of the most unique and challenging structural glass projects in the world.
We are currently looking to expand our Project Management department, and are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in manufacturing, planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and managing all necessary project resources and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager manages the project from beginning to end, including coordination with pre-sales, client communication and coordination, manufacturing, budget, costs, schedule, risk management, general work performance and quality and overall progress reporting. This role is responsible for continuously monitoring and communicating project progress with respect to the status of the project plan, timeline and budget.
Oversight includes, client approval, fabrication, assembly and installation of our specialty structural glass systems. Responsibilities will include coordination and communication with clients, our in-house structural engineering and design staff, our manufacturing and procurement teams and our finance and accounting team on the projects you manage. The projects you work on will be unique, and you will be responsible for several projects at a time. In this role, a successful candidate will ensure complete and timely adherence to project schedule and costs and documentation related to all projects, and will quickly become familiar with the work processes, standards of practice, and design technology used in engineering our structures.
Our work environment is dynamic and challenging, and this position offers the opportunity to lead and manage the delivery of structural glass projects as part of a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team. This role will report to our Director of Operations, closely collaborating with Project Executives, and requires direct communication and coordination with engineering, manufacturing/shop teams, clients and on-site installation crews. You should be a self-motivated professional with 3-6 years of progressive experience leading projects.
This is a full-time, onsite position with ample room for learning, development and professional growth for those who demonstrate the desire and ability to work hard, adapt and learn the complexities involved in the structural glass industry and custom fabrication.
