The EPMO Project Manager (PM) is a position which reports directly to the Enterprise Program Manager. The primary responsibility of the position is to lead and coordinate project management activities for large, complex programs, both business and IT specific implementations, using appropriate project methodologies (Agile Scrum, SDLC, LEAN) ensuring all projects are delivered in adherence with established project management standards, on-time delivery and budget integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interface directly with USMI IT technical leaders and external delivery partners to develop program schedules, resource plans and technical execution approaches—lead the IT and cross-functional business implementation approach.
• Conduct Cost Benefit Analysis for each project; validate cost and benefit assumptions with stakeholders, finance, resource managers, and process owners.
• Lead project reviews, communicate project status, and escalate risk and issues to business leaders in a clear and concise manner.
• Lead continuous improvement and process reengineering project efforts where business needs are identified.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 4 years of focused project management experience and program management
• Minimum of 4 years IT project implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
• PMP Certification
• Proven experience with Agile project delivery
• Advanced User, proven effectiveness with project management tools (Jira, PPM, SharePoint, Daptiv)
• This role requires excellence in project management, change management, communication, organization, and people influence
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Agile Scrum Certification (CRM)
• Experience in a financial services environment
