PURPOSE
This role is responsible for project management and business analysis of IT projects working within a flexible project management culture that achieves the successful completion of IT projects and programs. Collaborating with other business leaders, this position defines, assists in prioritization, and executes projects and programs according to Culinary Health Fund and UNITE HERE HEALTH business priorities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Develops strong relationships with internal clients, IT management, IT technical staff and executes project goals, timelines while identifying and deploying resources to meet project deliverables
- Becomes the IT subject matter expert on business processes for each business unit in Las Vegas
- Helps business implement solutions by determining project requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners
- Provides quality control reviews prior to launch
- Manages projects through full lifecycle including:
- Determination of appropriate methodology (Agile, Waterfall and others per business needs)
- Development and management of detailed project schedule, plans, and/or roadmaps
- Monitoring and maximization of resource utilization
- Facilitation of scheduled status meetings or scrums
- Reporting project performance utilizing standard reporting mechanisms
- Management of external vendors ensuring targets and costs are met
- Management of changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Management of risks to minimize issues and manages existing issues using standardized tools
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Developing and Driving Standards and Methodologies:
- Works with the PMO Director and Culinary IT Leadership to evolve the PM Framework and methodologies into continuously improved tools, processes, and standards
Driving IT Project Governance:
- Consults with the PMO Director, and Culinary IT Leadership in the development of a project governance framework based on industry best practices
- Partakes in the prioritization and project selection with IT and business leadership

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19
Years of Experience and Knowledge
- 5 ~ 7 years of direct project management experience minimum
- Proven understanding and experience of project management methodologies such as PMI standard predictive and iterative methodologies
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques for requirements gathering and tracking
- Strong influencing skills and ability to navigate successfully through direct, matrixed and managed service environments
- Exceptional organizational, planning and prioritization skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with QA a plus
- Consulting experience a plus
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience required
- Preferred: Masters degree
- Required: PMP Certification from Project Management Institute
- Scrum master certification a plus

- Advanced level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project)
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
- Preferred Bilingual skills (speak and write)
