Job description


The Senior Project Manager, ILI is responsible for the smooth execution of high-tech in-line inspection service projects in the oil & gas branch in an organized manner to guarantee quality, meet contractual commitments, exceed customer’s expectations, and maximize the project’s gross margin.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and controls high-tech in-line inspection projects autonomously according to the company Project Management processes
  • Oversees the implementation of the project within the company and creates and maintains project specific procedures
  • Conducts pre-job meetings with clients to gathers pipeline information and coordinates logistics with client
  • Records data in the ERP system (Kumavision) Global SharePoint and Back Log
  • Works closely with Data Analysis department for reports
  • Analyzes information provided by the sales team
  • Reviews opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies at the position level and ensures payment is received within terms
  • Works directly with and reports into the Operations Manager and in coordination with Global Resourcing located in Germany  


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • University degree or diploma in electronic or mechanical engineering or any comparable technical-related field; Project Management Certification (PMP) is considered an asset
  • Ten (10) years of hands-on project management experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the in-line inspection (ILI) oil & gas service industry
  • Understanding of the full cycle/stages of high-tech pipeline inspection projects, from Customer Inquiry to Revenue Recognition
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Practical knowledge in personnel management is preferred
  • Must successfully be able to pass pre-employment testing and background screening
