Under the supervision of the Director, Value Care Redesign and QIPM, the QIPM Project Manager is responsible for initiating and facilitating quality and performance improvement initiatives impacting core clinical processes and patient safety by providing analytical and project management support. The QIPM Project manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, resource management, reporting and data management of PRIME, QIP and other State-run program initiatives. This role will collaborate with the Office of Population Health and Accountable Care, the Department of Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and ISS on optimizing the organizations performance on the PRIME, QIP, and other State-run quality metrics. The Project Manager prepares reports for quality management purposes, helps identify and analyze critical issues, recommend solutions to decision-makers and implement interventions. The QIPM Project Manager will also identify, interpret, and manage the ambiguity and complexity of State-run quality program measurement specifications, effectively guiding project teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders from across the health system.



Bachelor's Degree - required

MPH, MHA, MBA or other related Master's degree preferred 

Demonstrated skills in data analysis and presentation
Demonstrated skill (intermediate to advanced level) in the use of personal computers and software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, database management, and analysis
Organizational skills in priority setting, following through on assigned tasks, and adhering to deadlines.
Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with and enhance communication and collaboration with staff, colleagues, administrative personnel
Skill in working with complex organizations to comply with regulatory requirements
Ability to function effectively in an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, other healthcare personnel and administrative staff
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to organize, prioritize and complete work in a timely manner despite many deadlines and competing priorities
Ability to define goals in an objectively and measurable fashion.
Demonstrated the ability in diplomacy, discretion, tact and sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to conceptualize, develop, implement and evaluate projects.
Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate methods and systems to improve efficiency
Ability to communicate effectively
