The Project Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of specific projects within Spring-Green Enterprises Marketing Services & Technology Departments. The focus is to oversee concurrent projects, communicating across department lines ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of App Development and IT. There is a dotted line reporting structure to both the Sr. Project Manager and the Director of Digital marketing.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Lead the development and execution of project plans from inception to completion.
  • Track and report the status of project activities, milestones and deliverables to execute the project on time and on budget.
  • Work with department leaders to coordinate activities of the project team, identifying resources where needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Identify, assess and facilitate resolution to business and technical issues and risks.
  • Regularly communicate with direct and indirect reports regarding status of projects.
  • Communicate effectively between all members of the project team by facilitating timely and appropriate generation, collection and dissemination of project information.
  • Take a supporting role in ongoing improvement of project management methods deployed across the company by being member of the Process Improvement Team.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships built on trust with department leaders, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Understand department initiatives interfacing with department leaders and peers to provide and obtain information and build consensus regarding project direction.
  • Work as a resource with the department leaders to establish project costs, review budgets, manage and approve project change orders, and budget adjustments. 
  • Responsible for the successful completion of the projects within the specified dates.
  • Use knowledge and the company’s intellectual capital to obtain solutions to complex problems.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required for access to pertinent systems, data interaction with vendors, personnel and other business partners.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred from four-year college or university.
  • 3+ years of project management experience within and IT or marketing environment
  • Experience in software development life cycle planning preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that are large in complexity, size, scope, schedule and budget while holding team accountable for results.
