The Project Manager leads and manages key projects for the Adhesives Electronics business with a primary focus on execution; this includes managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables, timing, and resource management. This role is critical  and will focus on new product development projects with a focus on launching and managing Thermal Management materials in Henkel's Adhesives Electronics business.

  • Provide leadership and management for product development projects, directing teams and
    managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Responsible for project execution including planning, resourcing, and delivery to schedule
  • Facilitate and manage the definition and delivery of vision and goals of the project
  • Promote and develop excellent project management throughout the organization
  • Balance best practice with reason and technical understanding for optimal execution
  • Provide regular status reports to the Technology and Business Leadership Teams
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, driving risk mitigation and recovery plans 

Requirements

Who we are looking for

  • BS degree required.  Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business or other technical degree strongly preferred. 
  • PMP and CSM preferred
  • 4+ years in a project management capacity, bringing new products to market is required.
  • Continuous improvement planning experience.
  • Experience in project budgeting.
  • Demonstrated combination of project management skills and technology expertise.
  • Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results-oriented with the ability to influence without
    direct authority.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in a global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and
    Visio).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
