Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager for the People + Places Advisory (PPA) group, you will lead and manager teams across multiple strategy and design projects. Responsibilities of the Project Manager are as follows:
Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of a project, including the budget, base scope and additional services
Reviews deliverables prepared by the team
Assumes responsibility (in partnership with the Market Leader and Project Approver) for financial, technical and design excellence, overall quality, and client satisfaction
Ensures project documents, including legal documents, contracts, and task orders are reviewed, approved, signed and filed per the AECOM project management framework
Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out)
Facilitates team and client meetings (both internal and external)
Effectively communicates relevant project information to the client, team, and internal leadership
Delivers engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations
Tracks and reports hours and manage project budgets
Determines appropriate revenue/margin recognitions, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, monitors project receivables, and is responsible for the collection of AR
Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations
Develops lasting relationships with clients and develops opportunities for new projects
Possesses a general understanding of the areas relevant for the projects managed
Travel up to 20% of the time (when its safe to do so)

Qualifications
BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
U.S. Citizenship
Additional Information
Demonstrated research and analysis abilities (quantitative and/or qualitative)
Graphic design and visual communication know-how, especially in producing infographics or conceptual illustrations
Strong writing skills
Experience with public speaking and/or workshop facilitation
Familiarity with change management, process design, and/or organizational development
Microsoft Office Suite
Microsoft Teams
Data analysis using Microsoft Excel
Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Virtual collaboration platforms, such as Miro and Mural
Space and building design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D Studio Max
Data analytics and visualization programs, such as PowerBI and Tableau
(5) years of experience managing space planning/programming and design strategy projects or within an equivalent field.
Additional Information:
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $87,000 - $162,000.
