Your Purpose
As Project Manager, you manage single discipline and/or small & medium projects, establishing a track record of successful delivery. You direct client work from a budgeting or scheduling perspective and present the in-process and final deliverables to the client along with your team. You use a variety of project management tools to inspire, coordinate and manage the daily activities of your project teams. You participate in weekly planning meetings to support resource leveling. You communicate with your team members to ensure that our engineers, designers and researchers can create meaningful solutions to product design problems. Key Responsibilities
More About You
You have at least 3 to 6 years of experience in a Project Management role. You may have your PMP certificate and/or another project management certification. You have training and/or experience with mechanical/electrical/electromechanical engineers, or industrial designers in consumer, commercial, or medical projects. You are well-versed and knowledgeable about MS Excel, MS Project, and internal project management systems. You are comfortable with and have at least 3 years of experience in client-facing roles.
You are clever.
You have a true passion for project management and human-centered product design, as evidenced by your career and education choices. You are familiar with how to plan and maintain client projects from start to finish. You are self-motivated and can work independently, if needed. You have impeccable organization skills and are extremely detail oriented.

You like to explore new territories and learn from others. You watch for opportunities to cross and upsell clients as needs emerge during the development process. You want to be deeply immersed in the product development process and are willing to educate yourself as needed to truly understand the nature of the client work.
You are confident.
You are confident in your interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, and your ability to add value to the processes of the Project Management department. You are comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, because sometimes that leads to the most unique, unexpected design solutions. You are happy to adjust work-plans and budgets as needed, depending on project progress. You want to work in an environment where things move quickly, and you’re happy to adapt as situations shift. You can work on-site daily in our fantastic office in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia.
