JOB PURPOSE

Under the direct supervision and with support of the Director of Development, the Project Manager, Provincial Communications Campaign will work with Feed Ontario staff, member food banks, vendor agencies, the media, and the public to strengthen Feed Ontario’s brand presence and reframe the roll of food banks through the delivery of a provincial communications campaign.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager, Provincial Communications Campaign is responsible for the following organizational activities and deliverables:

  • Manage relationships with vendor agencies supporting Feed Ontario’s provincial communications campaign, including creative agency, media relations agency, and media buying agency
  • Develop, manage and monitor progress of project plan associated with all phases of the provincial communications campaign
  • Work with the Director of Development and creative agency to manage production timelines and roll out the go-to-market plan for the provincial communications campaign
  • Work with Director of Development, Communications & Marketing Officer, and media relations agency to develop key messages around the campaign and support media outreach
  • Work with Director of Development, Communications & Marketing Officer, creative agency, and media buying agency to ensure campaign delivery and consistency across all digital platforms, including the Feed Ontario website and social channels, and purchased digital and broadcast media
  • Engage all members of the Feed Ontario network in the provincial communications campaign, including staff, board members, and member food banks
  • In partnership with the Member Relations team and vendor agencies, support member food banks to participate in and leverage the provincial communications campaign in their local markets and communities
  • Track and report on metrics for success of the provincial communications campaign, including reach, engagement, and donations
  • Support the Director of Development and vendor agencies in the development of phase two of the provincial communications campaign
  • With support from the Director of Development, manage partner relationships associated with the later phases of the provincial communications campaign, such as grocery, retail, and restaurants
  • Support the Development & Communications team to integrate the provincial communications campaign with other communications and fundraising activities, where appropriate
  • Actively coordinate with the Advocacy and Member Relations staff to ensure seamless work integration of the provincial communications campaign with advocacy and member relations work
  • Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, all Feed Ontario staff will be set up to work remotely from home. During regular operations, most work on behalf of Feed Ontario will done in an office environment. There will be some offsite travel required for meetings with partners and stakeholders. On occasion, you will be required to attend events on behalf of Feed Ontario.

Salary Details

$50,000 - $57,000 CAD
