Develop and deliver innovative solutions that modernize products, services, and the member interface. Assist in development and management of FFFCU’s innovation agenda. Manage projects that align with FFFCU strategic business goals and priorities. Maintain responsibility for planning and executing cross-functional and interdepartmental projects. Maintain responsibility for schedule, budget, and quality/performance of project execution and outcomes. Act as an innovation champion for FFFCU. Perform all responsibilities in support of our Core 4 values.


Identify and develop new strategies, business opportunities, and technologies that can lead to innovation and member engagement while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations. Be able to manage multiple projects with a focus on the big picture. Create and maintain project charters, requirements, scope documents, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and test plans.


  • Form and disband project teams as and when needed.
  • Manage project requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Plan work by using work breakdown structures, resource breakdown structures, and project management processes and tools.
  • Execute work in line with project plans, re-planning when necessary.
  • Manage project risk.
  • Document project plans, outcomes, reviews, and lessons learned.
  • Keep abreast of cutting edge and new technologies that may transform the financial services marketplace.
  • Develop new business opportunities and initiate new product development with sound due diligence and risk management.
  • Promote FFFCU’s innovation agenda; influence and obtain support from senior management for successful execution of the agenda.
  • Research, develop, manage and implement a balanced portfolio of projects for First Financial.
  • Support business units in new product and service initiatives.
  • Track and report projects status on a regular basis.   Measure, analyze and document the success of products, projects, and activities and their impact on capital and earnings stability.
  • Assign work and coordinate the activity of teams, insuring timely, high-quality results.
  • Pilot and test new practices, gathering feedback and making ongoing improvements.
  • Meet with team, sponsor and/or stakeholders to review plans and progress, make decisions and establish project direction. 
  • Adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, and Information Security.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and establish and manage a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality of all aspects of project management, security procedures and account information.
  • Support of the Core 4 values of the Credit Union.
  • [Step II] CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or higher certification from the PMI (Project Management Institute) or equivalent education
  • [Step III] At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management post-certification at CAPM or higher
  • Education: 4-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred
  • Experience: Prior experience in project management preferred
