Project Manager (Contract)

POSITION TYPE: Contract Salaried Full-time Regular (37.5 hours/week)

Lumenus Community Services seeks a qualified Project Manager (PM) to lead and continue the success of our Project Management Office (PMO). This position will report to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and will be responsible for the facilitation and success of a portfolio of priority projects as designated by the CAO working with the Senior Leadership Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fulfil the Project Manager (PM) role as the lead for the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of large complex priority projects such as the Lumenus Client Information System
  • Manage and mentor the PMO staff who report directly to the PM
  • Work with project sponsors, committees, and project teams to set project priorities, identify project issues, while recommending and implementing solutions
  • Manage and resolve risks within a project utilizing the PMI risk management process (identify, assess, monitor and control)
  • Be the Lead in the Lumenus RFP process as it pertains to the PMO projects
  • Maintain a reliable schedule of weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings to effectively manage the PMO portfolio
  • Maintain up to date project reports, schedules, milestone dates, risk logs, issue logs, change logs and decision logs
  • Implement project management policies, processes, systems and tools to support the Lumenus project management function including but not limited to project charters, project plans, project team requirements, project budgets, risks, issues and change requests and approvals based on PMP standards
  • Identify “lessons learned” throughout projects for continuous improvement based on outcomes, feedback and best practices
  • Maintain timely and effective communications with project team members, stakeholders, the CAO and the Senior Leadership Team

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMP or other accredited Project Management designation
  • Minimal 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, preferably managing projects in government, healthcare or non-profit environments
  • Significant experience implementing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or Client/Customer Information System (CIS) throughout the complete project lifecycle, preferably in the Canadian healthcare sector
  • Previous experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferred
  • Previous experience with Microsoft PowerBI analytics is preferred
  • Well-developed skills and experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
  • Well-developed skills and experience with Office 365 products such as Teams, SharePoint Lists, Project for the Web, PowerBI
