Essential Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the execution of project management functions, contract administration and the management and growth of project management staff.
  • Develop, review, negotiate, and manage complex contracts with clients and subcontracts with subcontractors. Ensures executed contracts are sound and beneficial and that activities are aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Effectively builds and manages relationships with clients; proactively engages clients to resolve potential issues.
  • Supervises the project team that includes other Project Managers and Project Assistants.
  • Oversees project budgets, change order approvals and subcontractor selection.
  • Collaborate with applicable construction operations, engineering and finance team members to ensure flow of information and plan for construction resources to successfully execute project activities.
  • Ensures compliance of project equipment and materials.
  • Consistently demonstrates leadership behaviors in alignment with Landmark's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Travel to project sites and/or client locations (approximately two days twice per month).

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience as a Project Manager in a heavy construction environment having financial accountabilities for the performance of projects.
  • Strong competencies in effective contract development and management.
  • Demonstrated success assessing construction technical issues and exercising latitude in judgment as ultimate decision-maker to solve issues, direct team members, evaluate construction performance, and collaborate internally with support functions.
  • Superior interpersonal, people management and communication skills.
