Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward thinking Fire Alarm Specialist. In this roles you will be responsible for installing, programming, testing of new and upgraded fire alarm systems.

**What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
+ Act as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customers first choice for service.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programing of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and operational/product manuals.
+ Execute all work in accordance with local and national codes, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
**What Youll Need**
+ Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
+ Solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
+ Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
+ A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
+ Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.

**Requirements:**
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm, and/or Special Hazards
2 years of hands on experience in the commercial/industrial/low voltage/electrical industry
Ability and knowledge to program medium to large scale fire alarm systems including Edwards Systems Technologies (EST) or similar
Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
Knowledge of ASSD/VESDA early warning systems
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years relevant
