Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Purchasing Lead to join our amazing culture. You will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and communicating activities of the Purchasing and Logistics groups with the Operations and Service departments for CTCs in Tennessee. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
+ Managing, coordinating, and communicating activities of the Purchasing and Logistics groups with the Operations and Service departments for CTCs in Tennessee.
+ Adheres to the ethical standards of purchasing.
+ Ensures that Convergint gets the best products, services and prices while establishing appropriate controls to maximize business results.
+ Continuously monitors the status of open purchasing requests, purchase orders and RMAs daily.
+ Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as tools, parts, and supplies for the Company. Will work directly in support of Operations and Service in collaboration with department Managers, Coordinators and Specialists.
+ Works out remedies for defective or unacceptable goods with Logistics colleagues, Project Managers and Vendors.
+ Provides work direction and training to Purchasing Agents.
+ Maintains strong partnerships with all Colleagues,
+ Customers and Vendors, meeting operations product needs on a timely basis and evaluate and recommend new products to enhance standards and increase profitability.
+ Takes personal ownership of accounts and objectives, while always maintaining and abiding by the high standards set out by Convergint.
