Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Release and Delivery Manager to join our amazing culture.\u0026nbsp; As a Release and Delivery Manager, you are a part of a dynamic IT team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows. The Release and Delivery Manager is responsible for the\u0026nbsp;release management lifecycle, focusing on coordinating various aspects of production and projects into one integrated solution. They are responsible for\u0026nbsp;ensuring that resources, timelines, and the overall quality of the process\u0026nbsp;are all considered and accounted for.\u0026nbsp;The individual will be primarily focused on: (1) Release planning: In this stage, release \u0026 delivery managers will design release guidelines that should be implemented across the company; (2) Configuring releases: The release \u0026 delivery managers will oversee the various aspects of a project before it is due to be deployed, ensuring all teams are on track and meeting the agreed guidelines; (3) Quality Checks: The quality of the release needs to be reviewed before a project is officially launched. The release \u0026 delivery manager is in charge of ensuring Quality Assurance teams know the guidelines of the project and will check that these standards are met; and (4) Deployment: After being quality checked, the project is ready to be deployed. The release \u0026 delivery manager is still responsible for ensuring a project is rolled out smoothly and efficiently.

What you\u0026rsquo;ll do

\u0026nbsp;

1. Planning release windows and the overall release lifecycle
2. Managing risks that may affect release scope
3. Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements
4. Measure and monitor progress
5. Ensure releases are delivered within budget and requirements
6. Manage relationships and coordinate projects between different teams
7. Develop and implement processes and methodologies to improve quality, repeatability, and on-time delivery.
8. Establish, monitor, and execute to Key Performance Indicators.
9. Triaging and addressing operational issues related to application release and delivery strategy.
10. Lead and coach the quality assurance team.
11. Determine optimal use of resources for speed to market; internal vs. external third parties.

What You\u0026rsquo;ll Need

\u0026nbsp;

• Minimum 6 years IT experience, in positions of increasing responsibilities.
• Minimum 3 years supporting critical business applications.
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in team building and collaboration.
• Ability to perform effectively under guidance/limited assistance from functional leadership.
• Demonstrated record of using analytical skills to improve business processes and outcomes and communication with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule.
• Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 6+ years of direct experience.
