Our Resource Deployment Management team within Risk Program Management Office coordinates, plans and allocates strategic professional staff in high-visibility transformation and risk management programs and projects for internal Citi clients. Working with other Risk, program management, and business segment leads to source and deploy expert resources, we are a newly established and fast growing team that collaborates in the development of processes and systems to track, identify, task, budget and plan resources across various Risk teams and projects. The Resource Deployment Project Manager will be responsible for resource management and allocation of internal project managers and consultants within the teams and projects. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to understand, guide, and influence others. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.


+ Coordinate the activities of a group or department of individual contributors. Manages the implementation, administration and execution of strategic policies and directives for assigned areas.

+ Responsible for coordinating knowledge-skilled competency resources across internal business customers. Collaborate with regional and functional business leads to align with both corporate and department strategy.

+ Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships. Timely engagement with constituent partners and stakeholders to support customer needs with urgency

+ Envision, develop and manage various operational KPIs, to include group performance, customer satisfaction, operational impact, and budget and expenses forecasting.

+ Manage, coach and mentor a team of direct reports and conducts salary and performance reviews.

+ Forecasts, budgets, and plans personnel requirements; participate in short and long-term planning for human capital and allocation. Identifies issues, provides input and makes recommendations regarding workflow allocation, tools, projects, products, process, metrics, and standards.

+ Lead and responsible for continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to identify efficient ways to achieve our goals

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup by adhering to applicable laws, rules and policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 6 10 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a management or leadership function. Experience in financial services (risk management or consulting) is preferred.

+ Project management experience; credentials such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum, Agile, and other similar certifications are strongly preferred.

+ Experience managing a team and meeting utilization targets.

+ Possess excellent logic and data analysis capabilities, the ability to clean, interpret and present key findings from large data sets.

+ Experience with human capital reporting and budgeting.

+ Experience with consulting contract requests for proposals (RFP) and statements of work (SOW).

+ Strong critical thinking and presentation skills with experience presenting to various levels of management.

+ Ability to work effectively in a high operational tempo, high visibility environment.

+ Capability to foster teamwork within a collaborative culture and across competing requirements.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to successfully communicate with senior leadership.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.

+ Bachelors/university degree. Would consider education in lieu of years of experience.
