**Description** Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Sales Engineer to join our amazing culture. In this role you will be dedicated to the team in South Carolina, with a focus on the Upstate and the Midlands, for creating designing systems, developing solutions, creating quotes and drawings for projects, including those related to service of existing clients. It is a technical role and will be primarily responsible for site walks, quote creation, assembling bill-of-materials, and general pre/post-sales coordination. You will focus on electronic security solutions but with the opportunity to expand into fire, life safety and healthcare technologies. We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience** + In-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications and site visits in order to determine and advise on overall project requirements. + Prepare estimates and quotes for each project utilizing estimation software tool. Respond to customer requests for information including the completion of RFIs and RFPs. + Understand requirements and articulate the value proposition of CTC products and services to customer. + Provide input, review and coordination of the preparation of shop drawings and wiring diagrams, based on project plans and specifications for completeness, showing location of devices, equipment, wiring, etc. + Advise Sales Professional and Project Manager regarding products needed for installation, implementation strategies, comparing material costs across vendors and manufacturers. + May prepare and/or review formal submittal packages, containing schematics, and technical literature as necessary to support each contract. + Develop solutions that meet customer requirements and work closely with sales team to develop customer implementation plans as part of sales proposals. + May develop incremental new business for the assigned territory. + Focused on electronic security solutions, with the opportunity to expand support into fire/life safety and/or healthcare technologies including nurse call, RTLS and others. **Company Benefits and Perks** Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which individuals of different backgrounds and identities are able to realize their maximum potential within the company.
