Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Sales Manager to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be directly responsible for team sales targets. The team is selling Convergint security solutions to verticals including Oil & Gas, Utilities, Office Buildings, Banking, Healthcare, Transportation, Aviation and Data Center clients in the Houston area and surrounding areas in Texas. **Measurable Results**
Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of sales targets and profitability for specific line(s) of business. Provides input beyond own territories and adds to CTCs corporate sales strategy.
Meet annual sales growth targets.
Hire, train and lead the sales team to achieve revenue and business targets.
Meet annual sales team growth targets.
Conduct 1:1 review with each team member annually. Have career plans and ongoing coaching in place.
Motivate: Induce daily planning and actions towards prospecting, presenting, and closing new business.
Each sales rep has daily planned activities for prospecting, presenting, closing and negotiations.
Coach: Work with the sales team on presales call preparation, on call support/monitoring and post call debriefing as needed to drive continuous improvement in sales performance and process enhancement. Lead closing activities by providing win strategy, executive sponsorship, and final negotiations.
Strategy is in place for advancing all closest to close sales opportunities. Lessons learned are conducted on reoccurring schedule. Best practices are developed and enhanced.
Accountability: Drive sales performance accountability for all sales team members. This includes daily actions and sales performance results. In cases of underperformance, corrective actions are developed, managed, and resolved.
Sales team is achieving measurable results for prospecting, pipeline value and sales results. Deficiencies are mitigated within pre-defined increments, if performance correction plan is not achieved, redeployment is acted upon.
Provide management interaction with CTC, CDS and other suited SMEs to ensure right-fit proposals and solutions are developed timely and within client budget parameters.
Establish effective and efficient process for sales engineering and solution development support.

**Requirements:**
Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience (preferred in business, engineering)
Minimum Experience: 8 years successful sales experience, including 2 years in the area of commercial sales (electronic security, fire alarm, building automation systems, or healthcare technologies) or adjacent technologies/integration experience.
