What you\u0026rsquo;ll do with \u0026ldquo;Our Training and Your Experience\u0026rdquo;

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability for specific line(s) of business (e.g. Security, Fire, etc.) in both installation and service. Providing input beyond own territories and adds to CTC\u0026rsquo;s corporate sales strategy.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management. Prepare action plans for individuals as well as for team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.\u0026nbsp; Ensure that customers are informed of new product/service introductions and prices.
  • Generate and distribute sales leads to the sales team.
  • Review proposals and estimates with sales team to ensure professionalism and accuracy. Work with team to provide competitive pricing on proposals and strives to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Provides monthly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Work with Product Partners to develop and maintain localized relationships to maximize benefit for Convergint and our customers. Responsible for creating, monitoring and revising lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.\u0026nbsp; Finds new and creative ways of engaging with customers.
  • Assist Account Executive in the preparation and delivery of RFP responses, proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Convergint Management Team to ensure optimal end-to-end delivery of our products and services. May work directly with other colleagues in order to delivery optimal efficiency for the sales organization within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive\u0026rsquo;s sales and activity performance. Provide feedback to senior management regarding performance.\u0026nbsp; Managerial responsibilities include but are not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; project budget.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

  • Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions
  • Strong financial analytical skills
  • Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
  • Driven, self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
  • Must have valid driver\u0026rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor\u0026rsquo;s degree preferred in business, engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience

\u0026nbsp;

Minimum Experience: 8+ years of successful sales experience, including two years in the area of commercial sales (electronic security, fire alarm, Building Automation Systems, or healthcare technologies) required. \u0026nbsp;Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
