Scientific Project Coordinator

As a future member of our excellent team, you will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinate and monitor multiple projects led by others related to R&D and business activities
• Lead internal cross-functional alignment initiatives to identify issues, manage risk, track progress, and prioritize workflow
• Organize, coordinate, and support the existing project and resource management efforts in our PM-tool ClickUp
• Contribute to the timely completion of project goals, independently and in collaboration with stakeholders
• Coordinate and manage timely delivery of reports for grant related projects
• Actively participate in scientific discussion and evaluation of new project plans
• Integration of various project management methodologies with the R&D strategies to ensure the most efficient setup for each team
• Compile performance data and analyze projects to enable data-driven decisions across teams

What skills and experience should you bring?

• Academic background, preferably in cell biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioprocessing, or related fields
• Have at least 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects in biotechnology / food / life sciences and preferably certified as a project manager
• Experience with project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.) and strategies (Agile, Scrum, Lean, Critical Path, etc.)
  Experience with ClickUp is a strong plus
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment and have a positive attitude towards challenges
• Strong computer skills (e.g., advanced level Excel)
• You think strategically, are creative, provide structure, and bring a high level of personal responsibility to the table
• Good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written) required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
