Develops, implements, and evaluates organizational change management strategies, plans and activities to build awareness of need for large-scale technology, process and people changes within the organization. Provides consultation and recommendations to executives implementing organizational changes to achieve successful adoption of the process or technology.



1. Collaborates cross-functionally with business owners and key stakeholders by providing recommendations and guidance on change management principles, techniques, and tools to implement large-scale changes across the organization.


2. Develops and implements concurrent long and short-term change management strategies for organizational initiatives in varying stages to determine change readiness, barrier points, and effectiveness of organizational change.


3. Builds, manages, and executes a master change management plan that includes multiple change projects; facilitates the implementation of change initiatives to include analysis, communication, training, and adoption activities for large-scale human resources programs and initiatives focused on recruitment, hiring, and talent acquisition.


4. Leads change management team members on cross-functional projects; delegates assignments, monitors performance and progress, and provides continued guidance, training, and feedback. Provides strategic governance for all change management processes, policies, and procedures.


5. Develops and manages internal and external communication opportunities and robust strategies utilizing multiple vehicles for change management projects.


6. Develops content and messaging regarding change management initiatives and promotes awareness and understanding of tools, products, processes, policies, and programs to facilitate successful change.


7. Leads the development and facilitation of training to build awareness of change management process, tools and techniques to increase awareness of its organizational value.


8. Partners with Labor Relations, Legal, and Law departments to ensure adherence to all laws, policies and procedures that apply to USPS. 


Knowledge of Human Capital Management with a focus on recruitment, hiring, and talent acquisition.


Skill using software applications and other project management tools to manage multiple large-scale change management projects and activities to include change readiness assessments, evaluating results, identifying resistance and presenting findings in a logical manner to various audiences.


3 years of experience developing and presenting change management strategies for large organizational changes to executives, experience should include creating master change management plans for multiple ongoing projects focused on engagement, communication, training, adoption, and resistance management activities.


Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on varying projects to lead the development of communication strategies and key messaging that provide knowledge of the change to diverse audiences across the organization.


Ability to lead the development of training content and materials (e.g., technology, process) ensuring use of multiple delivery methods (e.g., instructor led, classroom, virtual).


Ability to build and maintain working relationships with leadership sufficient to facilitate large-scale interventions and change management initiatives and strategies.


CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Change Management certification (e.g,. Prosci, CCMP).


Ability to lead, coach and mentor lower level consultants through the full lifecycle of the change management process to achieve results.
