**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** has an opening for a Senior Principal Project Manager to join our Strike team. This position will be located **onsite** in **Melbourne, Florida.**

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 4 year with Master's degree for an A03, or Bachelors degree from an accredited university and 10 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 8 years with Master's degree for an A04
+ Current, active DoD Top Secret clearance within 6 years of last investigation adjudication
+ Experience with Earned Valued Management systems
+ Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
+ Working knowledge of Project Management principles
+ Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Project integration experience
+ Supplier management experience
+ Risk/issue/opportunities (RIO) experience
+ Experience in SCIF/SAPF environments
+ Control Account Manager (CAM) experience/certification
+ Scheduling experience
+ Experience and ability to autonomously assess complex problems and decompose them into a plan of action while coordinating across a large, diverse team of program, business, and technical SMEs.
+ Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience

Salary Range: $74,600.00 - $111,800.00Salary Range 2: $92,400.00 - $138,600.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
