Job Title: Senior Program Manager­

Job Location: Duluth, GA  **Relocation Available**


Envistacom is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team in Duluth, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience with leading Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE)/New Product Introduction (NPI), Production and Sustainment programs in the DoD government contracting environment.


 Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams across a portfolio of programs/projects 
  • Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones in a matrix organization
  • Participate in Bid & Proposal effort to ensure best practices are being followed
  • Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategy for the cross-functional program team including defining program governance
  • Plan the overall program execution and monitor progress within defined scope (requirements), costs, and schedule while managing scope and changes
  • Set-up budgets, manage to baseline budgets and report project financials
  • Develop integrated management schedule and monitoring activities, issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
  • Manage risks and establish mitigation plans with integrated program team
  • Managing issues and taking corrective measurements with integrated program team
  • Manage resources (personnel) throughout the program life cycle; Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Manage stakeholders’ communication including providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Co-lead SubK/procurement strategies (volume discounts, extended warranty, shipping charges, etc.) with SubK Management
  • Close the project and ensure all objectives have been met
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization


 Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of project management experience with at least 5 years in a DoD government contracting environment required; US Government SATCOM or US Army Tactical Network experience a plus.
  • 8+ years of combined experience with leading Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE)/New Product Introduction (NPI), Low-rate Initial Production, Full Rate Production and Sustainment programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, in Engineering or equivalent preferred, Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration a plus.
  • PMP Preferred 
  • Active TS/SCI clearance OR had a TS/SCI clearance within the last 2 years OR can obtain one (https://news.clearancejobs.com/2016/06/12/obtain-security-clearance)?
  • Understanding of how different projects interlink and overlap, and coordinating activities around those interdependencies
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced, growing environment that requires oversight and guidance to a matrix-management organization consisting of team members from various functional areas to include Engineering, Production, Inventory Management, Procurement, Integration, Scheduling, Testing Acceptance and Quality Assurance
  • Proven ability to balance conflicting priorities and somewhat exclusive requirements, proactively identifying major resource gaps and evaluating multiple corrective plans to present recommended actions for improvement.
