AWS Foundational Services rely on the Infrastructure Capacity Management (ICM) team to manage Infrastructure complexities on their behalf to ensure on-time and defect-free compute and storage capacity delivery. Our goal is to ensure every customer has the capacity they need when they need it. What we do matters; every customer who uses Amazon€™s products is supported by the infrastructure we provide!

The ICM team is looking for an exceptional Program Manger to help us build on this mission as the volume of products, services, and locations continues to grow. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in ambiguity, is very customer obsessed, and is willing to take high degree of ownership for their program vision and execution of ideas. The ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, make data driven decisions, and apply good judgement to manage escalations, competing priorities, and deliverables is essential to this role. Successful candidates will be able to balance think big with realities of delivering on customer promises today. They will also have excellent analytical and creative thinking skills, and the ability to break down complex problems with no clear answers (and at times, conflicting data) into simple, innovative solutions and/or clear, measurable implementation plans.

Why you will love it:

In this highly visible and critical role, you will be the voice of the customer in developing long-term, strategic demand plans and work extensively with AWS teams including operations, engineering, product management, and finance to help grow the business. You will use program management and analytical skills to set a vision for the future, translate this vision into reality, and innovate on behalf of our customers. You will have ownership, not just responsibility. In addition, you will be part of a growing, fast paced, and fun team.

What you will do:
· You will own service demand planning processes for the specific AWS product or service you support.
· You will own translating customer requirements into a full production schedule for AWS infrastructure teams to support.
· You will lead and execute strategic business and process improvement initiatives, work across many stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and define measures of success for these initiatives (i.e. customer facing KPI€™s).
· You will communicate and explain end-to-end supply chains (inputs, outputs, rationale, gaps) and recommendations to many stakeholders, including internal customers, executives, and leaders across the organization. You will do this by preparing and presenting detailed, data-driven business reviews and proposals.
· You will focus on finding ways to enable our customers, stakeholders, and partners to solve problems at scale by proposing ways to streamline, optimize, and improve systems and processes.
· You will be a positive influencer across diverse teams, be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives, and be able to help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet your program goals.
You will work in a fast paced environment, taking on various roles and working with teams to define priorities.

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Math, Business, or other related quantitative discipline. Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in these fields.
· 5+ years of experience in program management, process improvement, implementation, risk identification and mitigation, and project execution.
· 2+ years of relevant experience in demand forecasting, planning, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, sales, finance or related field.
· 2+ years of experience with forecasting and planning customer demand signals.

· MBA or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, mathematics or other quantitative disciplines.
· 4+ years professional experience in technology and consumer electronics.
· Excellent written composition and verbal communication skills suited for all audiences
· Experience with supply chain modeling concepts & tools.
· Advanced knowledge of data center products and their global supply chains.
· Knowledge of cloud computing architecture and services.
· Comfortable managing through a high degree of ambiguity.
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
