We are seeking a collaborative Senior Project Manager who can use their project management experience, best practices, methods, and leadership ability to orchestrate and drive these improvements under the direction of IT leadership. The successful candidate will have a relentless focus on two things: improving the employee experience with technology productivity tools, and ensuring expected business outcomes clearly identified, measured, and reported. This position will report into CHG’s enterprise program management office (EPMO).

Your role.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve the employee experience with technology productivity tools and deliver expected business outcomes
  • Simultaneously manage multiple enterprise-level projects across the project lifecycle  
  • Employ servant leadership to organize, coordinate, and ensure success of cross-functional teams
  • Execute projects using agile methods wherever possible
  • Partner with teams to ensure organizational change management (OCM) activities are adequate, well planned, and executed effectively for each project
  • Create and maintain project ceremonies to ensure well-coordinated delivery
  • Ensure projects are organized, tracked, and reported
  • Ensure project risks, issues, and dependencies are identified, communicated, and resolved
  • Assist teams in resolving impediments and blockers
  • Provide timely status reports and communications to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and drive projects forward
  • Build trust by cultivating relationships, executing with precision, and communicating effectively 

Requirements

We're looking for people who:

  • Are exceptionally organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work 
  • Have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and be trusted by them
  • Understand and have experience with agile and traditional project methodologies
  • Have an agile mindset, and have employed agile methods in past projects
  • Know how to navigate and resolve ambiguous situations well 
  • Understand and have experience with organizational change management (OCM) principles
  • Are naturally proactive, consistently seeking to improve how they accomplish their work  
  • Execute well while maintaining strong relationships of trust
  • Have proficiency in documenting, tracking, and following up on many simultaneous tasks 
  • Track record of high performance in previous jobs
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Can collaborate well with others at all levels in the organization 
  • Have a broad understanding of employee productivity technology tools, such as desktops and laptops, Office 365 suite, IP phones, remote conferencing, wifi, VPN
  • Have fluency in project management tools, online collaboration tools, and Office 365

Education & Years of Experience:

  • 8+ years leading technology projects and/or products
  • 3+ years implementing employee productivity tools or changes to these tools, such as Office 365, video/web conferencing tools, and desktop/laptop hardware
  • 3+ years leading IT operations projects that support employee productivity tools, such as desktop management, IT support, asset management, telecom, network, and file sharing / cloud storage.
  • Bachelor’s degree (in any field)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in business, marketing, or technology fields)
  • MBA or master’s degree
  • PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master
  • Experience using objectives and key results (OKR) framework
