The Sr. Project Manager is responsible to provide superior post order sales and production related activities for the Bridge Form Product line including order processing, material requirements and allocation, subcontractor production/allocation, Engineering.

Essential Functions:
•Serves as a liaison between the customer, sales and operations teams providing a cohesive approach to project management
•Ensures that customer needs are met from initial bid through the end of the project
•Responsible for the seamless and efficient processing of administrative aspects of project management, including but not limited to: ensuring necessary customer paperwork and detail on orders is complete and accurate; entering orders into the JD Edwards system and Master Scheduler; development and maintenance of electronic project files; materials reservations for projects
•Coordinates Inventory Control and Procurement for the product
•Supports sales team in updating customer and project prioritization
•Confirms cohesion between Engineering releases and project budgets
•Ability to write RFI (Request for Information)
•Manage, develop and negotiate Change Orders
•Attends weekly production meetings
•Invoicing customers promptly in conjunction with Production reporting
•Manage the complete order entry process including continuously updating each project deliver requirements, engineering status, raw material requirements.
•Update master scheduler, JDE and associated production and sales related reports
•Manage complete vendor/subcontractor relationships including job releases, production prioritization, material sourcing, intermediate materials sourcing, JDE inventory transfers, vendor payments.
•Run MRP for coils and accessories, evaluate procurement requirements and make recommendations.
•Responsible for release of accessory stock work orders to match MRP requirements.
•Manage change orders including quoting, customer sign off, release for production.
•Manage JDE order entry kit part numbering system including development of new part numbers.
•Full responsibility for accessory inventory at all vendors/subcontractors including management of JDE inventory transfers, adjustments and periodic physical inventory counts/audits.
•Forecast revenue and GP monthly. Understand what the cause of any major variance.
•Invoice all jobs, including change orders. Issue credits as required.
•Report on stored material (invoiced projects) to controller as required.
•Procure all materials and coordinate supplier schedules with suppliers and customer demand.
•Any additional responsibility or task that management deems appropriate as the position evolves.


Skills, Experience and Education:
•Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Related Field P.E. preferred
•10 years experience Project Management in the Bridge Industry and production planning
•Certified Project Manager a plus
•Working knowledge of manufacturing plants and inventory management processes
•Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
•5 years minimum engineering of metal fabrication, sourcing, processing, shipping
•Working knowledge of engineered to order products
•Roll forming of sheet steel experience a plus
•Knowledge of ERP/MRP concepts and applications. JDE or SAP experience would be beneficial
•Strong knowledge of Excel is required
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong goal setting, planning and prioritizing skills
•Proven focus on customer satisfaction and ability to work as part of a diverse team
•Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and Microsoft Project
•Knowledge of the steel procurement, especially flat rolled products, a plus
•Strong knowledge of 2D AutoCAD. Inventor 3D knowledge is a plus
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong planning and prioritizing skills
•Ability to travel on occasion is required.
•Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
