Responsible for leading internal cross-functional teams to establish, execute & scope R&D projects; build work plans; monitor and report team progress vs. established achievements & schedule(s); as well as monitor & report project progress vs. partner requirements, budget, business results & cross-functional objectives.

Specific responsibilities include:

Build, evolve and maintain integrated project plan(s), project management documents & design controls inputs & requirements, as well as track & report team progress vs. established project contract(s) and related requirements.
Establish & maintain project team documents, including design inputs & outputs, ongoing communication, design controls requirements and project team reports.
Ongoing team resource management, establishing team member roles/responsibilities and corresponding shared expectations and functional results, to drive project team efficiency and accomplish timely progress vs. business requirements.
Lead ongoing team communication and reporting – includes schedule, and budget status; team progress vs. deliverables; and overall project health vs. established metrics.
Leads ongoing team communication, to coordinate resource inputs and drive project progress vs. schedule and landmark deliverables, as well as identifying & prosecuting project issues, gaps & and corresponding plans.
Leads ongoing project risk management, to advance progress from the innovation phase, product & process development through scale-up and commercial launch.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical or Biological Sciences, or related analytical field.
Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience, leading cross-functional teams comprised of both technical and non-technical resources &
