The Senior Software Implementation Project Manager plays an integral role in planning and executing all project-related activities, such as delegating tasks, planning project timelines, and establishing key milestones. You’ll represent the Odessa Team, in this client-facing opportunity, to lead the project life cycle, identify and navigate challenges, and ensure successful implementation of the Odessa Platform. As a strategic player on the Odessa team, you’ll have the opportunity to put your skills and expertise to the test, by leading complex, multi-year, global projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for managing all project aspects from Planning to Go Live for multiple medium to large, multi-year (ranging from 8 months up to 4 years) product software implementations 
  • Monitor and report project status and other performance measurements weekly to key customer and company stakeholders
  • Prepare management plans and reports; coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of deliverables, presentations, and formal Project Reviews
  • Maintain consistent communication with the customer before, during, and after each project
  • Responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to generate revenue to meet established revenue targets
  • Perform horizontal integration planning between core products and other functional systems
  • Develop work breakdown structures; prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing progress and opportunities
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining PMO best practices, methodologies, templates, processes, and policies


Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major
  • 10+ years of hands-on Project Management experience in vendor, agency, consulting, or related position/s
  • 7+ years’ experience managing software implementation projects for external customers lasting 2 - 4 years
  • Ability to actively plan and manage large project budgets
  • Track record of creating and then directly executing long, detailed project plans
  • Familiarity working with multi-national customers or stakeholders
  • Experience with vendor-side ERP software implementations
  • Understanding of entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for each customer installation and the associated complexities and dependencies, including data migration, system integrations, and user testing
  • Experience in Iterative Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to identify resource requirements and manage team schedules across multiple projects in different phases of execution
  • Ability to travel at key points throughout the implementation process, including possible international locations
  • Familiarity working with remote teams, team members, and customers
