We are searching for a Senior Technical Project Manager to utilize resourcing and scheduling techniques to organize and align MIS technical teams across the enterprise in order to protect the integrity of Southcoast Health core IT infrastructure.

Job Duties:

  • Will require working knowledge of data centers, server and storage, virtualization, networking, active directory, Citrix, and security engineering.
  • Coordinate and communicate technical planning activities under the direction of the Information Technology Director, Chief Information Security Officer, and Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation Services to achieve smooth transitioning of technical requirements and engineering project activities.
  • Additional responsibilities include technical project oversight to include scoping, detailed MS project planning and Visio design documentation.
  • Through detailed technical project management; top priority will be to act as a steward for risk avoidance through highly coordinated and collaborative technical planning to sustain high availability of all Southcoast Health technology infrastructure.
  • Provide functional and technical guidance of other employees in the same or related classifications where supervisory responsibility is limited to occasional direction, guidance, explanation, etc.
  • Provide project definition, project planning and staff direction as it relates to assigned projects.

Hours: Exempt- Day Shift
Location: Fairhaven, MA- With up to 25% remote (MA and RI Only)

 
Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business Management or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • Project Management certification(s) required or must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
  • Experience managing projects related to Hospital Information systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio and MS Project is required.
  • Strong project management skills required, attention to technical detail, strong verbal and written communication skills and a sense of urgency balanced with good interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution and leadership skills are required.
  • Five (5) years experience in Technical Project Management is preferred; supervisory experience is preferred.
  •  Working knowledge in data centers, server and storage, virtualization, networking, active directory, Citrix, security engineering required.
  • Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience is highly desirable.
  • Technical Infrastructure experience strongly preferred
