We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience** + Acts as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customers first choice for service. + Perform Service/Installation of Access Control, CCTV, intrusion, alarm, and other fire or security-related systems, including being able to refer to technical guidelines and bulletins. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary. + Perform system adds, upgrades, and computer software programming. + Prepare written diagnosis information to provide support for compliance and possible quote. + Read and understand technical drawings, and assigned service documentation for work orders including the scope of working the determination for additional information. + Specialize in installing and servicing Large and Medium Security systems such as: Card Access Control, IP Video, CCTV, Perimeter Protection, Visitor Management, and Video Analytics. **What Youll Need** + Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. + Our technical needs include people trained (or experienced) in electronics and low voltage systems, with mechanical skills for installing, terminating, and programming panels and devices. + Ability to develop basic programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions. + Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision. + Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper). + Frequent visits to job sites are required. Minimal overnight travel is required.
