Service Supervisor

Convergint Technologies is hiring an additional Service Supervisor in our Orlando CTC. This role is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all Convergint Technologies commitments on Customer Service Programs (CSPs), time and material, parts sales, and other service duties. This is a line position that is field-based and office-based and is responsible for the effective management of resources, costs, safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction for the delivery and expansion of the existing service base. The position typically supervises Service Specialists and/or Inspectors in all aspects of service delivery. The financial impact is measured in the growth and delivery of Service products in the local CTC market. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Job Responsibilities:\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;

1.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Oversees all elements of job and contract management, including manpower scheduling, material procurement, and/or cost control.\u0026nbsp; Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals, and related project activities on a regular basis with the customer and seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction.\u0026nbsp; The position is both office-based and field-based.

2.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Responsible for maximizing safety and quality assurance on all assigned projects. \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;

3.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Maintains good customer relations, including prompt response to customer requests and maintaining frequent customer contact.\u0026nbsp; Conducts annual customer satisfaction surveys to measure and track customer satisfaction levels.\u0026nbsp; Acts as \u0026ldquo;our customer\u0026rsquo;s best service provider\u0026rdquo; at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer\u0026rsquo;s first choice for service.

4.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Responsible for the administration of jobsite services, and/or colleagues who support estimating, pricing, quoting, order processing, payroll processing, service billings, and collections.\u0026nbsp; Carefully monitors all financial aspects at each step of the project (costing, invoicing, billing time, revenue, margins, etc.)

5.\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;Support the sales team by cultivating and maintaining existing accounts and actively pursuing new service and system expansion opportunities with the existing service base.\u0026nbsp; Supports renewals for expiring contracts for accounts without an assigned Account Executive.

6.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Effectively communicates service project requirements to service team and wider organization as and when required, and maintains accurate and up-to-date records of job status, job changes, material flow, and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.

7.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Supervises colleagues in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency, and productivity. \u0026nbsp;Recruit and hire colleagues as required.\u0026nbsp; May perform a limited range of managerial responsibilities including but not limited to:\u0026nbsp; mentoring, coaching, and developing colleagues; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; project budget.\u0026nbsp; May oversee subcontractor selection process and performance.

8.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

  • Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)

Education Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor\u0026rsquo;s degree desirable
  • Established experience in administration, business or management

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of previous, field service, project management, or relevant engineering experience preferred
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic security, fire alarm \u0026 life safety, and/or building automation
  • Previous service supervisory experience desirable
