Position Summary: \u0026nbsp;Responsible for generating new service agreement business and growing existing accounts for service sales through high activity prospecting of current and future customers. The emphasis of this role is prospecting for new customers and new revenue. Additionally, you will execute renewals - monitor for ending service agreements and resell /renew. Grow our existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

New Project service contract Add-ons - work with AEs to build service contracts. Add-ons to project proposal in all applicable sales opportunities. |
Existing Project Customer \u0026ndash; Work with existing customer base to identify install projects that did not buy service contracts upfront. |
Expanded Service contract business - use existing relationships to cross sell in other business segments; example, sell Fire service contracts to existing Security customers. |
Executes high level prospecting activity with new and existing customer base. |
Convert T\u0026M customers to service plans |
Use iCare to identify customers with high spend on T\u0026M Work Orders and model options to save with a service contract. Target previous customers who were lost. |
Collaborate externally \u0026 internally to drive sales strategies, pipeline development and opportunity capture effort to achieve weekly, monthly \u0026 quarterly sales goals. |
Articulates the value Convergint brings and of a recurring service agreement |
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. |

Requirements:
Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: 3 years sales, business development or equivalent. Basic knowledge and understanding of the Utilities market.
Preferred Experience: (but not required):\u0026nbsp; 3+ years of proven Integrated Security Solutions sales experience is strongly preferred. Security systems design and operation knowledge and a general understanding of building electrical, perimeter detection, CCTV and/or surveillance systems strongly preferred.
