What you\u0026rsquo;ll do with \u0026ldquo;Our Training and Your Experience\u0026rdquo;
* Build relationships with existing customers and prospects to cultivate and identify new opportunities.
* Collaborate with premier partners in vertical markets and industries such as transportation, global/enterprise accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, datacenters, federal, state and local governments, and K-12 \u0026 higher education.
* Develop business opportunities, conduct needs assessment (customer site walks) and write proposals for system installation and service opportunities.
* Develop market awareness through networking, presentations, event attendance and industry associations.
* Partner with operations personnel to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all solutions.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts in all lines of business including service and installation solutions for new and/or existing customers.\u0026nbsp; Prospects and develops new client relationships within a defined geography and in line with Convergint\u0026rsquo;s identified priorities.\u0026nbsp; Develops and increases Key and National Account relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities. Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

\u0026nbsp;

Skills:

Strong sales skills and ability to uncover effective customer solutions.

Shows initiative \u0026ndash; engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities.

Very adaptable \u0026ndash; responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Solid knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles.

\u0026nbsp;

Experience:

Minimum of five years of previous account development, sales or related experience required.

Three years of experience in one of the following required:\u0026nbsp; electronic, fire alarm \u0026 life safety, and/or building automation.
