We are ProChange Behavior Solutions, a 25-year-old behavior change consulting firm and solutions provider that leverages a science-based approach to behavior change.  Among other things, we make software products that empower people to make life-changing breakthroughs in health and well-being.

We are nationally renowned and highly respected for conducting research, delivering improved outcomes, and guiding clients in successfully applying behavior change science.

ProChange provides an excellent benefit package that includes medical, dental, life, 401(k), Flexible/Dependent Care Spending Accounts, identity theft protection, and more. ProChange is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Who you are

You are a software project manager who also has hands-on experience in requirements definition, test planning and testing, and are fine wearing all of those hats as needed.  You have a knack for understanding the big picture, yet you pay close attention to even the smallest details. You understand what it takes for teams to build software and are comfortable bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical team members and managing client expectations.

What you’ll do

You will be a critical member of our software development team and will play a major role in making sure our software solutions are developed and delivered with the functionality and quality needed to support the needs of research projects and/or clients. Your work will routinely include:

*software project planning and creating project management plans and timelines,

*managing the Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC) and bug/fix schedule,

*project status tracking and progress reporting,

*creating and maintaining project documentation,

*eliciting requirements and developing requirements documents, and

*creating test plans/cases and performing testing.

To get the job done, you’ll collaborate with clients and non-technical product owners as part of our cross-functional software development team of designers, developers, content creators, and testers. You’ll typically deliver projects using an agile/scrum software development methodology.

Where and when you’ll work

You’ll work virtually from your own location, with travel to Rhode Island 2-6 times/year for in-person meetings, with typical working hours of 9 am - 5 pm Eastern with some flexibility.
