**What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
+ Installation of sprinkler systems and life safety equipment with minimal guidance and ensures that system is operating properly. Interprets manuals, schematics and repairs equipment using standard equipment and hand tools.
+ Safely troubleshoots and repairs more complex issues associated with fire sprinkler systems such as piping, fixtures, valves, fittings, tubes, and other equipment for fire sprinkler systems. In order to make repairs, may be required to cut, thread and hammer pipe using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.
+ Acts as "our customer's best service provider" at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer's first choice for service.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
**What Youll Need**
+ Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
+ Developing technical skills and experience related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
+ Ability to develop basic programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
+ Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).
+ Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

**Requirements:**
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
+ 1-3 years relevant
+ Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
