**Description** The Convergint Sr. Account Executive is responsible for the business development sales activities across a defined territory or vertical market with a focus on new business development & existing account management. The Sr. Account Executive establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area. The Skill Set Required includes: Solid sales and teamwork skills to provide effective customer solutions. Shows initiative by proactively looking for sales opportunities. Adaptability to business changes with the ability to influence others. Basic Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point Skills. Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles. The preferred level of Experience is: Minimum of one year previous account development, sales or relevant experience preferred. Preferred industry experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
