Essential Functions:
Collaborates with and facilitates work between clinical and analytic departments
Acts as subject matter expert (SME) for clinical questions encountered by Analytics and Improvement department
Leads teams to consider varied options, gain consensus and complete work in a timely manner
Provides clinical input to development of solutions involving analytics (e.g., statistical models)/informatics/BI solutions
Champions work to improve health, reduce cost and improve member experience by identifying opportunities for improvement in clinical and operational processes
Supports evaluation of clinical initiatives
Identifies gaps and creates appropriate educational material (documentation) for internal and external reports produced by Clinical Analytics team for the Care Management department
Maintains knowledge of trends, developments and opportunities in areas of responsibility by reading appropriate journals and other literature. Develops understanding of relevant business processes, goals and strategy in order to provide analysis and interpretation
2 years experience defining problems and utilizing data to draw conclusions
7 years clinical experience in varied settings
3 years experience facilitating interdisciplinary teams
