The Community Trust team protects Amazon's Community features (e.g., Customer Reviews and Questions & Answers) from abuse.

This is a strategic area of investment for Amazon and the work we do is of paramount importance in preserving the trust customers have in the Amazon brand. Our environment is fast-paced and highly ambiguous as we continuously work to stay one-step ahead of bad actors and protect customers from their violations.

We are looking for a seasoned product leader who moves fast, has an entrepreneurial spirit to create new solutions, has an unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and is a pioneer to solve complex problems through innovation. The Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Selling Partner Experience role will be responsible for defining 3-5 year vision to improve selling partner experience for the Community Trust organization. You will work to conduct research, analyze data, set strategy, define a product roadmap, launch and iterate, and drive alignment across other Amazon business units. We are looking for an analytical and self-driven individual who will have end to end ownership of the detection and treatment of an abuse vector.

This person will be responsible for identifying and driving the launch of machine learning infrastructure to detect activity, tools to generate labels to train machine learning models, and products for data scientists and other product managers to use to detect and prevent abuse. This person will also build strong mechanisms and processes for the business so that we can work quickly and with high quality. Work in collaboration with data science, software engineers, the business team and operations to execute your product vision.


Key job responsibilities
€¢ Lead initiatives that will prevent abuse that harms Amazon's customers and enhance the customer experience.
€¢ Lead ambiguous and undefined problems to resolution in constantly changing, multi team-based environment, work backwards from customer needs and deliver high quality PR/FAQ€™s.
€¢ Lead large-scale projects, working cross-functionally with other Amazon teams and ensuring on-time delivery.
€¢ Continually optimize the business, manage prioritization and trade-offs, and evangelize your initiatives across the organization.
€¢ Deliver end-to-end product and process improvements to ensure products are operationally sound and scalable.
€¢ Communicate the performance of the business to senior management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor€™s degree or higher with a technical discipline.
· 5+ years of consumer facing software product management experience.
· Experience designing, building and shipping scalable products with world-wide impact.
· Strong analytical & quantitative skills and demonstrated business judgment with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions.
· Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions.
· Experience with machine learning.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

€¢ MBA or Master€™s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related discipline.
€¢ Experience in fraud/abuse prevention, authentication, risk management strategies and execution.
€¢ Proven ability to solve complex problems autonomously with strong, creative solutions.
€¢ Track record of high-scale technology launches €“ e.g., millions of customers, thousands of transactions per second.
€¢ Experience with cross-organizational collaboration and negotiation.
