The Worldwide Revenue Operations Customer Relationship Management team (WWRO CRM) is looking for a driven, curious, and passionate inventor to dive deep into our Seller€™s lives to identify key areas for investment for WWRO CRM to build globally scaled products that help them be the worlds best salespeople.

In this Senior Technical Product Management role you will be tasked with deeply understanding the processes, complex systems ecosystem, and interpersonal networks that our salespeople have to navigate everyday to do their jobs at at AWS, and identify ways to simplify, accelerate, or otherwise force multiply their effectiveness. You will have a deep understanding of sales and sales operations and the various technologies that power them, and be able to bring those technologies (or new tech stacks you invent) to bear at scale to solve a wide range of problems. You understand the systems and technologies behind your product, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons for architectural decisions. For these products, you will write press releases that imagine what we would say to customers on the release date of a new product to make sure we build the right solutions. You are a simplifier. You determine when it is appropriate to build, improve an existing solution, or integrate existing features for a more cohesive end-to-end customer experience. You will be responsible for ideating, incubating, and iterating on these ideas until they are ready to present to leadership for review, acceptance, and funding- and then do it all over again.

Beyond a strong technical background and proven track record of product management, a successful candidate will have experience cutting through ambiguity and driving strategy through influencing executive leadership. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four year university degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
  • 6+ years of industry experience in developing software or services
  • 3+ years experience in product management or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree or certification in Business, Computer Science, Economics or related fields.
  • Administration/development experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM related technologies.
  • Experience in Sales or Sales operations
  • Experience with developing products and features for the sales, sales operations, and marketing space
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a startup or enterprise software environment
  • Growth mindset oriented
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
