Utilize your deep expertise in product management for direct-response marketing, advertising, marketing automation, customer-relationship management, or content creation to build communications programs for Amazon's customers and to define the features of new systems that will plan, measure, and deliver our messages to our customers.


You will work with top marketers and engineers across Amazon to build and improve messaging tools that are used to engage customers worldwide. You€™ll bring your vision to the management of systems that measure, prioritize, and optimize outbound communications across all of Amazon's internal categories. You will collaborate with partners to define the features for new automated marketing systems that build, plan, and send the right marketing communication to the right customer at the right time and through the right channel. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Partner with the channel technology teams to define and improve tools and features.
- Define the vision, requirements, goals, business and success metrics for Amazon's next generation marketing tools and drive implementation with technology teams
- Define vision for the next generation of Amazon digital marketing
- Drive the expansion and optimization of automated digital marketing
- Develop strategies that support key customer outcomes including the use of life-cycle marketing
- Drive strategies to optimize multi-channel customer communications across email, push, SMS, and third party messaging apps.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experience in a marketing, engineering, or product management role
- Experience in retail or B to C marketing including use of customer segmentation and life cycle marketing practices
- Experience in defining feature requirements for marketing systems
- Superior written presentation skills
- Superior analytical skills including experience with use of complex and diverse data sources
- Basic ability and knowledge of HTML, SQL, and Systems Design
- Experience working with agile methodologies like SCRUM

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Extensive experience with content management systems
- 3+ years of experience with marketing using online channels (email, mobile push, re-targeting)
- Experience with market-leading CRM and marketing automation systems
- Comfortable with technology with a particular focus on automation systems
- Expert ability with HTML, JSON, Javascript and message rendering and design
- Understanding of iOS and Android's push notification systems (APNS/FCM)
- MBA or Master's degree
