Worldwide Operations Talent Acquisition (WW Ops TA) is responsible for attracting, hiring, and integrating the best student and military talent from all backgrounds to build the future of Amazon’s global operations leadership workforce. We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead the Interviewing Programs that support recruiting for university undergraduate students, Pathways graduate students, and transitioning military and veterans for North America Operations. The team leverages a short-term assignment interviewing model that supports high volume hiring. We are looking to build mechanisms to support diverse interview loop construction at scale, establish a business champion model and develop reporting to senior operations leaders to assess support and drive overall engagement.

The role will require ideating and developing new processes in a complex, ambiguous and fast paced spaces. You will support the build out of a strategy, complete with vision and objectives to close key interviewing program gaps such has high drop-out rates and diverse loop construction. In this role, you will inspect, measure and improve processes and work backwards from customer need to innovate and expand the adoption of interviewing programs across all operations lines of business that are supported. Close partnership with Talent Acquisition (TA) leaders will be essential for driving adoption of change and overall interviewer participation. Collaboration with PM’s within the Candidate Experience team is critical for leading a cohesive program that supports three unique recruiting groups.


The ideal candidate can work effectively at scale and will forge partnerships with recruiters, recruiting managers, and PM’s internally and externally to the org. They possess strong verbal and written communication skills, while keeping a keen eye on measuring success through data. They have an ability to manage priorities against tight timelines, demonstrate backbone as well as a sense of urgency, and employ a practical, common sense approach to solving complex problems.


About the Team:

We are an embedded program management team supporting three global recruiting teams that support hiring ~16,000 hires annually. Our Programs Team is made up of three teams, the Early Engagement Programs (internships, military fellowships, job shadows), Candidate Experience Programs (interviewing operations and interviewer learning & development training) and Recruiting Operations (demand collection, marketing, job postings, swag).

Core Responsibilities:

· Leads operations work for NA Interviewing programs and allocates resources in line with hiring and programmatic needs
· Creates and executes short, mid and long term program strategies that may re-define current operational processes
· Manages program against stretching key performance indicators
· Work with recruiting managers and program managers across the org
· Develops reporting to share with senior business leaders


This role can be based in Seattle, Nashville or at one of our regional office locations. Virtual location may be considered.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· 5+ years of program, project, or product management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in recruiting and/or HR environment
· Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects/priorities, including client relationships
· Experience writing narratives and presenting to leaders
· Successful track record working with cross-functional business leaders to gain approvals on proposals and recommendations
· Strong analytic skills with experience using information to influence change programmatically
· Ability to serve multiple customers and deliver an excellent employee experience
· Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
· Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
