As a Strategic Support Manager, you will develop and implement programming to address the needs of multiple programs across the world. By supporting 100 new COVID-19 learning hubs in 50 priority low and middle income countries, training 350,000 clinicians and public health workers, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to touch a billion lives by 2025!

If you have strong leadership and collaboration skills, excellent communication skills, proven experience working across cultures and leading teams, this is a great opportunity for you! Working with a Sr. Project Director, you will play a critical role in:

Overseeing the work of the team for many programs and creating a system for project management, reporting and redefining strategy

Overseeing the day to day activity of the projects team, including staffing, hiring, and development of team members

Creating objectives and goals for the team to build an energetic working environment to foster innovation and teamwork

Interacting with senior management and administrators within ECHO Institute and the broader MetaECHO community to represent and promote the development of COVID-19 hubs and programs using the ECHO model

Working with the Sr Project Director and other senior leadership to ensure strategic messaging for COVID-19 ECHO efforts across Africa, Asia and Latin America that can be shared at the local level

Overseeing and guiding the International Projects team to work with the Replication team, International Projects team and Virtual Immersion Training team to develop immersion training to support Africa, SE Asia and Latin America

Working with external ECHO partners in the development and implementation of programs, including needs assessment, curriculum, and instruction design, identification of outcomes and evaluation plans

Guiding program documentation, dissemination and sustainability efforts

Identifying strategic opportunities for grant proposals and other funding support

Collaborating with the ECHO institute grants team to write strong proposals for key areas in Africa, SE Asia and Latin America

Project ECHO's is a telemedicine and distance-learning program with partners all over the world. In order to meet our partners' needs, work hours outside of normal business hours maybe required. We are fortunate to have access to advanced technology, which may provide opportunities for some telework.

We are funded in part by grants from the GE Foundation, the Helmsley Charitable Trust, the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, the Merck Foundation, Robert Wood and the US Government. We have received support from the NM Legislature and the New Mexico Department of Health.
