Qualifications - Customer Domain experience
- TS/SCI with poly clearance
- On-site work experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously.
- Highly motivated and dedicated to deliver results in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Previous experience writing requirements and seeing them through the project lifecycle
- Customer-centered approach to all interactions required in support of position activities
- Strong analysis and organizational skills
- Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas.
Responsibilities The individual selected for this position will fill a role as an Engineering Manager (EM) in support of the Sherman program. The EM will report directly to the PM and/or one of the existing managers supporting the Program Management Organization. The EM will serve as a manager and be a key member of the PMO and serve as an Individual Contributor in support of the customer. This position is located in Chantilly, VA. Specific roles and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to the following:
Engineering Manager Role:
- Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Compiling weekly and monthly status to the PM
- Working closely with the customer Staff (COTRs) personnel to provide overall SETA/SI support to the group, branch and specific projects assigned.
- Assist the PM in providing programmatic guidance on his/her area of responsibility. (Requiring insight into the overall technical, financial and contractual details on projects). Including milestone readiness, cost, risk, and supportability
