PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Ravago Holdings America (RHA) is installing a suite of software applications known as RavApps™. Some of the software that is being installed is from 3rd party vendors, and some is created in-house. The Onboarding Project Manager (OBM) will be leading the effort for multiple legal entities (LE) to migrate onto RavApps. This transformation of the business systems environment is expected to take multiple years and will require an incredible amount of planning, organization, communication, documentation and team collaboration. The OBM will need to coordinate all activities related to gap analysis, process flow creation / definition, implementation guidelines, testing, training, management of change procedures and post go-live support in a manufacturing environment. This role will require an individual with experience in complex software onboarding practices for multi-national corporations.

This role will be specifically focused on chemicals and manufacturing businesses, or what is referred to as “CHEMFAC”.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare all timelines, project plans, resource requirements, and project status reports for onboarding.

  • Organize gap analysis sessions, create and oversee all process flow data collection.

  • Establish roadmap for legal entity onboarding, managing parallel and series software implementations, as needed in order to complete all work as quickly and efficiently as possible, one time correctly.

  • Nominate focal team (business process champions) to assist with local gap analysis, process flows, testing and training for individual project rollouts.

  • Set expectations and collaborate with business General Managers and provide regular status updates.

  • Adapt to ongoing business evolution, which will require managing to timelines and project planning, especially when acquisitions are involved.

  • Setup onboarding process to include acquisition work, on an as-needed basis.

  • Apply the RMA 7S for Success standards to the work areas and all tasks.

  • Uphold the RMA Code of Conduct standards.

  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Business Systems.

 

 

 

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of four year degree preferred

  • Preferred experience:
    • Related I/T software leadership and implementation experience.

    • Supply Chain Management

    • Manufacturing Operations

    • Developing, leading, and performing application test plans (UAT)

    • Support of business systems

    • Organizing and facilitating training programs with a variety of delivery methods (classroom, virtual training, or on the job coaching)

    • Developing training aids, manuals, and handbooks

    • Organizational change management

  • Must have exposure to leading decentralized teams.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills (5 Why and 8D).

  • Demonstrated excellence with both oral & written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Projects, and Word.

  • Knowledge of operations software, such as Macola, HighJump, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Forseva and Tableau would be beneficial.

  • Knowledge of project planning tools, such as Jira and Confluence would be beneficial.

  • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.

     

The OBM will need to have a broad background in ERP systems implementation and integration software (middleware) with exposure to as many order to cash functions as possible, including purchasing, inventory and warehouse processing, sales order entry, logistics planning, transportation coordination or other tools related to order management in a manufacturing environment. The candidate should have a strong technical understanding of how ERP systems work and a desire to learn the details involved in electronic transactions. This role will require a high level of planning, communication, and strategic thinking, where the individual will need to demonstrate an organizational skillset.

Travel Requirements:
Focals and Business Owners are located throughout the Americas and the OBM would need to have in-person interactions with these teams on a regular basis. Domestic travel would be around 30%. International travel could be up to 10%. The programming and development team is located in Belgium and could require a visit at least twice/year.
