Ordering Service Group is a collection of services that facilitate commerce. Commerce is the negotiation of agreeable terms and conditions of sale between an entity and a customer, the balanced exchange of goods or services for consideration, and the contract as the catalyst for execution until swift and complete fulfillment of exchange. Ordering is involved in nearly every detail of your Amazon.com order from the time you click "Add to Cart", to the time you get the "Your Amazon.com order has shipped" email, to the moment you get a refund after a processed return.

Component Reversal Workflow (CROW) team within Ordering Service Group owns refund platform that seamlessly enables Amazon Shoppers & Sellers in their managing returns and refunds worldwide. CROW platform team owns the refund platform charter and the mission is to provide internal Amazon clients with refunds eligibility authoritatively, to administer refunds creation accurately, to orchestrate refund execution for various business needs worldwide and to ensure accounting completeness.

We are looking for an experienced, customer obsessed Technical Program Manager who is able to collaborate effectively with a technical team and be responsible for key aspects of the software customer experience on a new consumer service. In this role you, will lead the definition, and shepherd the development, of new features as well as important optimizations to the service. The role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with a high-energy team of software engineers, program managers, user experience designers, marketers, customer service leads as well as internal & external product stakeholders across the company. This role is a good fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is both creative and technical, and who is sensitive to (or understands) the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
· 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
· 5+ years of technical program management experience

· Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
· 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
· 10+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
· Experience managing software releases
· Experience with Distributed systems/OO concepts etc.
· Experience with bug tracking systems
· Experience with business applications such as Word, Excel and Project



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of technical program management experience
· 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
· Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
· 5+ years of experience in technical program management, or similar technical leadership role
· 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
· Excellent program management skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent ability to coordinate and contribute to the design of systems within program space to include limitations, scaling, boundary conditions, and architectural decision making process

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experienced in delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment
· Proven experience in managing large scale enterprise projects
· Solid foundation in understanding service oriented architecture and service inter-dependencies that drive technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
· Experience solving challenging engineering problems with multiple constraints
· Experience managing the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with considerable impact
· Experience driving overall strategy and teams across organizations
· Experience working independently to design, plan, and execute technical projects; able to distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs
· Demonstrated deep knowledge of technical program management and engineering best practices
