1.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Provides direction and leadership for all aspects of design across CTC operations activities and/or specific line of business (e.g. vertical markets) including, but not limited to, the following: setting design standards, developing and implementing design processes, operations planning to support design delivery, qualifying potential business, operational review of proposals and bookings. Coaches, councils and trains the Operations force to improve individual skills. Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.\u0026nbsp; Coordinates with closely with leaders across the organization.

2.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Overall responsibility for designs executed by the design team \u0026ndash; estimated cost vs. actual cost, review of completed work, quality control, supervision of labor and outside consultants, planning and scheduling, design reviews with customers, and support of installation teams.\u0026nbsp;

3.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Support sales colleagues and vertical market teams in communicating the value of detailed design, the strategic value of design standards and demonstrating understand of design requirements and capability to deliver detailed designs.\u0026nbsp; Particular focus on global accounts, enterprise customers and initiatives for the vertical markets. \u0026nbsp;Identifies new markets and high potential growth areas.

4.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Effectively communicates goals to the operations and design teams and communicate with the wider organization as and when required, and maintains accurate and up to date design project status including cost, and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.\u0026nbsp;

5.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Develops and implements operations and design strategies that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost effective manner.\u0026nbsp; Particular focus on developing efficiency and implementing automation in design processes. \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;Devises and executes structural changes needed to ensure success.

6.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from all customers.\u0026nbsp; Seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Seeks feedback through the Company Customer Survey process.\u0026nbsp; Meets with customers on a regular basis to ensure that we are providing quality installations and meeting their individual needs.

7.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Drives collaboration between regions and divisions and ensures that best practices are implemented and shared across locations.\u0026nbsp; Leads and assists with continuous growth year after year, through innovative solutions delivered in a repeatable, scalable and cost-effective manner.

8.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Utilizes financial systems to review actual vs. estimated contract cost and to provide timely and accurate financial reports.\u0026nbsp; Recommends benchmarks and metrics for measuring and improving operations.

9.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Manages individual performance and personal development of assigned resources including performance of subcontractors and consultants.

10.\u0026nbsp; Supervises colleagues (typically Design Engineers, Project Designers and Engineering Specialists,) in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency and productivity. Recruit and hire team members as required.\u0026nbsp; Managerial responsibilities include but are not limited to:\u0026nbsp; mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; project budget.

11.\u0026nbsp; Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

\u0026nbsp;Job Skills Requirements:\u0026nbsp;

  • Excellent management skills related to Security System Design and Project Management
  • Strong working knowledge related to design processes, AutoCAD, Revit and BIM modeling
  • Customer Focus \u0026ndash; Maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet of the needs and wants of the customer
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Leadership Orientation \u0026ndash; Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills
  • Initiative \u0026ndash; Engages in proactive behavior and looks for new project opportunities
  • Adaptability \u0026ndash; Responds effectively to changes in situation or information
  • Strong financial analytical skills including cost control
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills

\u0026nbsp;Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor\u0026rsquo;s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Master\u0026rsquo;s degree preferred
